Happy Halloween!

What’s up everyone? It’s Flexi here again and today is the last day of Blogtober. I’m happy and sad at the same time. Happy that I’ve accomplished at least 90% of my goal (there were 3 days that I wasn’t able to blog) because honestly, I never thought that I would be able to blog everyday but I challenged myself nonetheless. I also feel sad that it has come to an end, but endings are gates to knew beginnings right? (I just made that up, but it’s true right?)

Blogging daily has been very fun but tiring at the same time. School has been hectic with lots of homeworks and coming up with new posts everday is also not an easy thing to do unless you have hundreds of ideas floating in your head that are just waiting to be written just like a story waiting to be told. It’s been so much fun because of your comments. I really appreciate those who read my posts and comment (at least say something) because it really moves me (I sound dramatic) when you do because it means you have given me a portion of your time by reading and commenting.

This is the first time I’m celebrating Halloween since we don’t really have Halloween as a tradition in the Philippines (where I grew up) and now that I’m in Japan and it has only been recently that Japan has started celebrating Halloween (3 or 4 years ago), I decided to celebrate it this year.

Since the middle of September, there were already so many shops selling Halloween items that are so cute and very tempting to buy so I bought some halloween items and I did a haul so if you havent seen it yet here’s the link. It’s actually a video and I posted it on my YouTube channel.

Starting October, there are halloween-themed delicacies everywhere and now that November is coming and December is just a month away, I’m already seeing Chistmas advertisements on TV. People are so advanced, always excited for the next thing. In the Philippines, Christmas is probably the most prepared for and celebrated holiday of the year. Filipinos count down from 100 days ’til Christmas so that would be about 3 months before the actual holiday.

Anyway, let’s get back to Halloween. I made a last-minute Halloween costume and I was going for a witch look because the witch’s hat I saw at Flying Tiger was too pretty to not buy and when I saw Kalyn Nicholson’s video about last-minute Halloween costume, I liked the dead-version-of-myself look so I combined those and I also wanted to wear red lipstick despite being dead so I made the lipstick look like blood dripping from my mouth which sounds disgusting and creepy but just bear with it. So I ended up becoming a dead vampire witch however weird that sounds. Who are you going to be in this year’s halloween?

Is Halloween a tradition in your country? How do you celebrate it? Type it down in the comment section below, I would love to know! 😄

Thank you for reading and cheers to more books! 🍷📚💕😄

Love,
