Everyone forgets a thing or two once in a while. Don’t worry too much. It’s totally normal.

Our brains are processing a lot of information all at once. With smartphones 24/7 with us, billions of information are literally in our hands.

Without further ado, the following are relatable struggles extremely forgetful people go through.

1. Being introduced to someone and then forgetting their name.

2. Reading a text and forgetting to text back.

3. Putting dirty laundry and detergent into the washing machine and forgetting to push the start button.

4. Being interrupted mid-sentence and losing their train of thought.

5. Downloading apps that remind them what to do at what time.

6. Setting an alarm for everyday chores like taking the trash out and washing the clothes.

7. Going to the living room to get something and then forgetting why you’re there.

8. Double-checking or triple-checking the door if you’ve locked it.

9. Going back in the house to get something you forgot and misplacing the keys on the way, then looking for misplaced keys.

10. Saying the words “It’s on the tip of my tongue” countless times.

11. Opening the fridge staring at the contents, trying to remember why you opened it in the first place.

12. Telling the same story a thousand times to the same person.

13. Writing down something to remember on anything and forgetting where you wrote it.
